Some of Vancouver's architecture is inspired. The curves on this building, which I probably failed to properly photograph are truly beautiful. Some other architecture is boring sixties cement building style. Ironically the apartments in those cement buildings are far more spacious and functional than the smaller, prettier new versions of human habitats. As Peter Gabriel put it a while ago: "this is an announcement from genetic control: there's a four foot restriction on humanoid height," just so you fit in those new structures.
